FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

The equipment does not turn on.

  • Disconnect the power plug from the socket and then reconnect it.

The receiver suddenly turns off.

  • When the Auto Power Down function is active, the power will automatically turn off if the receiver has not been operated for several hours.
  • Check the settings of the Auto Power Down function.
  • Make sure there are no loose wires from the speaker cables touching the rear panel. This may cause the receiver to shut down automatically. After about one minute (you should not turn the unit on during this time), turn the receiver back on.

No sound output when an input function is selected.

  • Use VOLUME +/- to increase the volume.
  • Press MUTE on the remote control to unmute.
  • Set the AUDIO SEL o H (HDMI), C1/O1 (digital) or A (analogue) depending on the type of connections made (page 18).
  • Make sure you have connected the component correctly (see Connecting the equipment on page 10).
  • Check the audio output settings of the source component.
  • Refer to the instruction manual supplied with the source component.
